The plan is a required submittal to the MA Division of Conservation Services which makes the Town eligible for open space matching grants. Over the last decade, Orleans has been reimbursed for more than 50% of its open space acquisition costs. While the Town is not preparing any grant applications this year, it is necessary to begin the update process now to ensure future eligibility.<\/p>\n<p>Resident&#8217;s opinions are crucial in the development of a plan that will meet your needs. Please take a few minutes to complete the on-line survey and help Orleans to continue the development of its open space and recreation programs.
