Westport Federal Credit Union is proud to announce the launch of its NEW mobile banking app, Westport FCU<\/em><\/strong>! Check your balances, make account transfers, pay your loan, deposit checks, and more! The new mobile banking app is named Westport FCU<\/em><\/strong> and has a clear image of our logo, as pictured in this article. The new mobile banking app is now available in both the App Store and Google Play Store, making it accessible to smartphones across the board!<\/p>\r\n If you have been previously using our TouchBanking<\/em> app, or are an online banking user, your username, password, and security questions will remain the same on the new Westport FCU<\/em><\/strong> app, there is no need to re-register! If you have not already enrolled in online banking or the previous TouchBanking<\/em> app, you will be able to create a new login right from the Westport FCU<\/em><\/strong> app’s home page!<\/p>\r\n Westport FCU<\/em><\/strong> will have all of the same features and functions as the TouchBanking<\/em> app, so you will still be able to access your accounts, loans, and bill pay in the same way as before. The home screens and menus will also look similar so it will be an easy transition to navigate!<\/p>\r\n WFCU has also been able to implement new biometric features to the Westport FCU<\/em><\/strong> app such as facial recognition or fingerprint recognition for faster and easier log-ins.<\/p>\r\n WFCU has worked hard to make this a seamless transition and is here to help members with every step of the way! Expand<\/i><\/a><\/p>\r\n No, your username and password are the same as previously with TouchBanking. We aimed to ensure that this would be as seamless of a transition as possible for all of our members.<\/p>\r\n <\/a>Do I need to re-enroll in online banking? Expand<\/i><\/a><\/p>\r\n No, all credentials have been carried over from TouchBanking.<\/p>\r\n <\/a>Will all of the functions in my mobile app remain the same? Expand<\/i><\/a><\/p>\r\n Yes, all functionality within the mobile banking app remains the same.<\/p>\r\n <\/a>Why are there two apps under Westport FCU in the Google Play Store and App Store? Expand<\/i><\/a><\/p>\r\n In addition to the new “Westport FCU” mobile banking app, the credit union also has an app for managing your Visa credit card called “WFCU Visa.”<\/p>\r\n <\/a>Are there any new features with the new Westport FCU app? Expand<\/i><\/a><\/p>\r\n Yes! As a part of this transition, we have added two features to make your experience that much easier – Enroll from Device and User Management from Device. Enroll from Device allows those that are not currently enrolled in online banking to enroll right on your mobile device.
